Railay

Limestone Cliffs · Secluded Beach

Accessible only by longtail boat, Railay is one of Krabi's most dramatic settings — a narrow peninsula wrapped in towering limestone cliffs that plunge straight into turquoise water. The beach is soft, quiet, and largely free of traffic noise, making it ideal for unhurried, intimate photography. Sunrise here is soft and golden over the karsts, while sunset paints the cliffs in deep amber. Railay works beautifully for honeymoon and pre-wedding sessions, engagement shoots, and anyone wanting a genuinely secluded, cinematic backdrop. Because it's boat-access only, we build in transfer time and can combine Railay with a nearby lagoon or viewpoint for extra variety in one session.

Ao Nang

Sunset Beach · Buzzing Boardwalk

Ao Nang is Krabi's most lived-in beach town — a long stretch of sand backed by a lively boardwalk of cafes, bars, and boat piers, with a string of small islands visible just offshore. It's the easiest location logistically, close to most hotels, and offers a genuinely beautiful sunset as the sun drops behind the islands. We love Ao Nang for relaxed couple and family sessions where you want a real "this is our holiday" feeling rather than a remote, staged look. It also works well as a starting point before continuing to quieter spots like Nopparat Thara or Tab Kaek in the same session.

Quiet Shoreline · Boutique Coast

A short drive north of Ao Nang, Tab Kaek Beach is quieter, cleaner, and far less crowded, backed by the same dramatic limestone peaks but with a calmer, more residential feel thanks to the boutique resorts along its shore. The wide, flat sand and shallow, gentle water make it a favourite for families with young children and for couples wanting a peaceful background without other tourists in frame. Low tide reveals long, mirror-like reflections that are wonderful for sunset portraits. Tab Kaek pairs naturally with a Klong Muang extension, giving you two distinct beach looks — lively and lagoon-like — in one afternoon.

Koh Lanta

Laid-Back Island · Slow Sunsets

Koh Lanta trades Krabi's dramatic cliffs for something softer — long, laid-back beaches, shallow turquoise water, and a slower pace that suits relaxed, unposed photography. It's a full-day trip from the mainland, usually by speedboat, so we recommend it for couples and families staying on Lanta itself or wanting a dedicated island day within their holiday. The island is known for some of the region's most reliable sunsets, with wide open horizons unobstructed by karst formations. It's a natural fit for honeymoon sessions, solo portraits, or a second, contrasting look for couples who also shoot in Railay or Ao Nang.

Made famous by its impossibly turquoise lagoons and sheer limestone walls, Koh Phi Phi is the most adventurous of our island locations — reached by speedboat from Ao Nang or Krabi Town. Between the main viewpoint, quiet coves, and boat-side shots along the way, Phi Phi delivers some of Thailand's most recognisable scenery. It suits honeymoon and engagement couples who want a bucket-list backdrop and don't mind a longer travel day for it. Because timing around boat schedules and crowds matters here, we plan Phi Phi sessions carefully around light and tide, usually as an early-morning or golden-hour excursion.
